Girl Child Scholarship

Rotary Club of Rajdhani has been continuously supporting girls’ education through its Scholarship Program for several years. Continuing this noble initiative, the club distributed scholarships to five girl students, each receiving Rs. 1,00,000 to support their education.

The scholarship distribution took place during the 3rd Club Assembly and the 1131st Regular Weekly Meeting (RWM) on 19 October 2025. The cheques were handed over by Assistant Governor Rtn. Uraj Nakarmi, Club President Rtn. Shiv Raj Bhatt, and Service Project Chair PP Rtn. Nischal Bahadur Shrestha to the recipients — Anita Tamang, Ayusha Tamang, Shaiesta Bajracharya, Dristi Pradhan, and Neeva Bajracharya.

The club had applied for a District Grant on September 19, 2024, which was approved on May 6, 2025, to support scholarships for five girl students under the Girl Child Education Initiative. The approved amount was utilized for this purpose.
