Rotary builds drinking water system with RO in schools

Rotary Club has built a drinking water system with the aim of providing clean and safe drinking water in schools.

RI District 3292 and Rotary Club of Hetauda, Rotary Club of Balaju, Rotary Club of Gongabu, Rotary Club of Kathmandu, Rotary Club of Kathmandu Circle, Rotary Club of Kathmandu Height, Rotary Club of Kathmandu Metro, Rotary Club of Matrubhumi Baluwatar, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank and Jalan Iron and Machinery Stores have constructed a drinking water structure with RO at Shree Rastriya Secondary School, Bhimphedi-1, Sanutar with financial support.

After the construction of the said structure, the students, teachers and employees of the school will be able to easily consume pure and safe drinking water. At the program, Club President Pramesh Pradhan said that clean water is the basis of a healthy life and expanding access to quality drinking water at the school level is a positive achievement.

The School Management Committee expressed gratitude to all Rotary Club, stating that the school family has directly benefited from the project. The program was attended by past presidents, office bearers, Rotaractors, School Management Committee, teachers, students, Parents and local social workers participated.
